Therapeutic Boarding School Students

Having worked with students at therapeutic boarding schools for many years, I understand the myriad range of these students’ particular college needs. Some will need substance-free housing and on-campus addiction counseling, while others might need one-one-one math tutoring because of a learning disability. Regardless, my specialty is to address the needs of each student and match those with exact college solutions.

Additionally, I understand an imperfect high school transcript and an interruption of education, such as when the student attended a wilderness therapy program. It is critical how each student addresses these past issues, but more importantly how we focus on how he or she can capitalize on the new person they have become and the bright future they are creating. Knowing how to address these topics on applications and in interviews is critical for every therapeutic boarding school student.
