Every student has a unique college path, and every student can find a place to be successful. Consequently, my job as an Independent Education Consultant is to find each student’s strengths and passions and to sculpt a college and career path out of those meaningful interests. More than anything, my job is to help a student find success.

I loved college. College was a place where I grew intellectually, made life-long friends, and immersed myself in learning. College was a successful and meaningful experience because my college was a good fit for me. Thus, I want this same caliber of experience for everyone applying to college. I want young students to feel happy, alive, and exhilarated with their learning, and not unchallenged or out-of-place.

College admission work and test preparation is a tangible operation. The student and I are working toward a real goal—college! This isn’t busy work; this is real. This will be a decision that dictates where the student lives, eats, recreates, and learns for the next four years. For most kids, choosing a college is their first major life decision, and it is absolutely a privilege to teach students how to navigate this decision. At the end of our work together, students embark for college with skills and strategies they can use the rest of their lives!
